Role: HR Advisor

Type: Part Time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract  

Salary: £45,000 P/A (£29,000 pro-rata for 25 hours per week)

Hours: Mon – Fri: (9:00am – 14:00pm), flexible working hours

Location: Slough

 

Are you an experienced HR Advisor, looking for a part time position? Then this opportunity cannot be missed! I’m currently recruiting for a leading Engineering company based in Slough. My client is looking for a HR Advisor on a full time, permanent basis due to growth in the company.

 

HR Advisor – Key responsibilities:

• Act as the standalone HR advisor, helping managers handle complicated situations like performance issues, absences, grievances etc.
• Manage recruitment and onboarding, ensuring new starters have a smooth experience and processes are fair and compliant.
• Maintain and update HR policies, run training sessions, and ensure the company stays on top of employment law.
• Drive HR initiatives like performance management, wellbeing, and inclusion, while keeping accurate records.

 

HR Advisor - Essential Skills & Experience:

• CIPD at minimum Level 5
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently, under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft office – Word, Excel & Powerpoint
• Competence in using HR Systems
