Key Responsibilities
- Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to Level 2 standards
- Read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and engineering drawings
- Use a variety of measurement equipment, both conventional and SMART
- Solve practical problems within the NDT area and maintain high-quality standards
- Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained
- Pass Jaeger J1, Curpax J2, and Ishihara tests
Required Experience:
- Level 2 NDT certification in FPI and MPI (or FPI with strong MPI experience)
- Relevant EN4179 experience or qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an NDT role
- Aerospace experience advantageous
- £19.59 per hour Including 17.5% shift allowance
