Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a friendly and close-knit maintenance team within a manufacturing environment.

 

This role offers the chance to work on a variety of machinery, while also supporting bespoke welding machine builds and site improvement projects.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

 

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
• Fault finding and maintaining a range of manufacturing machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, furnaces and production lines
• Working with 3-phase systems, power distribution and motor control circuits
• Supporting the electrical build of bespoke welding machines
• Maintaining site electrical compliance including fixed wire testing, PAT testing and fire systems
• Working closely with the maintenance and production teams

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

 

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong understanding of 3-phase electrical systems
• Ability to fault-find on a variety of machinery
• Knowledge of UK electrical safety standards (18th Edition preferred)
