Our client are a leading manufacturer providing specialist solutions to a variety of industries such as aerospace, power generation, rail and oil and gas industries. They are looking for a Warehouse Operator on an initial 3 month contract.

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to support our manufacturing operations on a fixed-term basis. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and preparation of materials and products in alignment with production and customer requirements.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries in line with company procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for both internal production and external shipment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate records through stock checks and inventory system updates.
  • Support regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
  • Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety standards.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift license or certification preferred (training may be provided).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physically fit to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
 
Contract Details
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 1.30pm
  • Pay: £13 per hour – paid weekly
