Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Description

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of cables and raw materials.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and dimensional tests, including continuity, insulation resistance, high-voltage, tensile strength, elongation, and sheath integrity checks.
• Ensure products comply with internal standards, BS/IEC specifications, and customer requirements.
• Approve or reject materials/products based on inspection results.
• Maintain and verify the calibration of test equipment.
• Record test results and maintain Certificates of Conformance, analysis reports, and inspection logs.

• Maintain accurate quality records in line with company procedures.
• Report non-conformance trends and quality metrics.
• Prepare documentation to support internal and external audits.

• Conduct scheduled internal audits across departments and production lines.
• Audit adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support preparation for customer audits and external certification.

• Share inspection results and findings with production teams, engineering, and management.

 
Quality Assurance Inspector
Skills & Experience Required

• 2–3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations; experience in internal auditing is advantageous.
• Strong practical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, work accurately under repetitive tasks, and maintain records.
• Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to undertake training to develop new skills.
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and commitment to a clean, organised workspace.
