Essential Requirements / Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a multi-discipline operational or logistics leadership role
- Proven track record managing fast-paced, dynamic teams across warehousing, logistics, and field operations
- Strong background in warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, and inventory control
- Practical experience with Health & Safety management and CDM regulations
- Experience with customs compliance and exporting to Europe, including documentation and declarations
- Ability to make fast, informed decisions and perform effectively under pressure
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- High-level problem-solving abilities with a proactive, hands-on approach

- Lead, motivate, and develop multi-discipline teams across operations, warehousing, logistics, and field services
- Ensure daily operational activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with business priorities
- Implement structured processes and KPIs that support continuous improvement
- Act as second-in-command to the Head of Operations, contributing to planning and wider strategy
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, stock movement, and warehouse layout optimisation
- Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and project mobilisation activities
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and shipping providers
- Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety and CDM requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and ensure correct documentation and training is in place
- Manage customs processes, export documentation, and regulatory compliance for European shipments
- Liaise with HMRC, freight agents, and governing bodies to ensure smooth international logistics
- Support operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Identify improvements across supply chain, logistics, and operational workflow
- Contribute to operational strategy for large-scale projects and service delivery programmes
