Scope of Role:
Our client are embarking on an exciting new project to establish a secondary facility in the UK in Towcester. The business will be moving a product line from the Sunbury-On-Thames location to Towcester. This will enable Towcester to become the business centre of excellence for Motion products.
The HR Project Manager will lead all HR activities related to this site launch, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and welfare arrangements for new starters. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition and readiness of the workforce for the new facility.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Deliver recruitment for approximately 20 manufacturing roles at the Towcester site. Liaise with recruitment agencies to source candidates and organize interview schedules and recruitment events. Manage candidates applying directly via the website.
HR Project Management for Site Setup: Project manage all HR aspects of establishing the new location, ensuring compliance and readiness. Provide regular progress updates and recruitment metrics to stakeholders.  Work closely with the Towcester Project Manager and Sunbury HR team.
Onboarding & Compliance: Oversee onboarding of new starters, ensuring BPSS clearance is achieved through a third-party referencing agency.
Training & Welfare: Develop a comprehensive training plan in collaboration with the Manufacturing management team. Organize transport, accommodation, and welfare for Towcester new starters attending training in Sunbury.
Systems & Reporting: Utilize SuccessFactors recruitment module for candidate management and reporting.


Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an HR Project Manager, ideally within manufacturing or similar environments.
  • Recent hands-on experience with SuccessFactors, particularly the recruitment module.
  • Previous experience opening a new manufacturing site within an established business.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.
  • Confidence with CV sifting and initial candidate contact.
  • Experienced in setting up robust recruitment processes focused on candidate experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with internal and external parties.
