Test Engineer
Location: Near Weyhill / Andover
· £33,000 – £42,000 per annum (DOE)
We are recruiting for a Test Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation supplying into multiple high-performance industries, including automotive and aerospace. This is a hands-on role within a modern test environment, working on complex, large-scale projects.
The position offers strong autonomy, ownership of work, and extensive training to help you quickly develop specialist skills.
Essential Requirements / Experience: · 1–2 years’ experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or test environment
· Experience with test equipment, data acquisition, or control systems (e.g. dynamometer, MoTeC, LabVIEW or similar)
· Background in electrical, electronic, software, or mechanical engineering advantageous
· Experience working with motors, rotating equipment, or high-power systems desirable
· Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The Role: · Carry out testing activities using advanced test rigs and instrumentation
· Support development and validation of complex engineering products
· Set up, monitor, and analyse test programmes and performance data
· Work closely with design and development teams to resolve issues
· Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver to agreed timelines
· Produce clear technical reports and documentation
· Ensure safe operation of test facilities and equipment
