As a senior member of the planning function, you will play a key role in improving planning processes, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand, service levels, and inventory targets.
- Balance capacity, labour, and material availability to optimise production flow and minimise disruption.
- Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure effective execution of plans.
- Monitor production performance, identify risks or constraints, and proactively implement mitigation plans.
- Support S&OP / MPS activities and contribute to demand and capacity planning discussions.
- Analyse planning data and KPIs to drive improvements in efficiency, delivery performance, and inventory control.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and scheduling processes.
- Proven experience in a production planning or manufacturing planning role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of MRP / ERP systems and planning methodologies.
- Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
