Job Description
- Design and develop a range of mechanical high precision components
- Prepare scheme drawings, and detail manufacturing drawings for production
- Perform mechanical component development and integration
- Solve a variety of mechanical engineering issues and improve existing designs
- Utilise CATIA V5
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing mechanical components/systems within the aerospace industry
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Accomplished using CAD/design software
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and geometric tolerances
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex design challenges.
Additional Information
- Initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension due to programme demand
- Multiple hires required to support a large-scale engineering workload
