Due to continued growth and increased production demand, they are seeking a skilled, reliable CNC Turner with strong experience with setting and operating CNC turning machines, a quality-focused mindset, and the ability to work confidently in a structured manufacturing environment.

Job Description

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines, specifically Mazak lathes, in line with manufacturing plans and procedures
• Read, understand, and work with CNC programs and code to support accurate machine setup and operation
• Set and manage datums, tooling, tool length, and wear offsets to maintain process control
• Ensure quality output through in-process inspection and use of precision measuring equipment
• Take responsibility and contribute to maximising machine utilisation as part of a team

Essential Experience

• Experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines (at least 2 Axis)
• Confident machining precision components within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, rail, nuclear, automotive etc)
• Well-versed machining with metals
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines in a team-based environment
