I’m supporting an established engineering and technology business that, due to continued growth across its manufacturing operations, is looking to appoint an experienced Wiring Technician. Wiring Technician
Job Description
- Wire and assemble control panels and electronic equipment to detailed specifications.
- Build wiring looms and harnesses from schematics, drawings, and wiring schedules.
- Install cables, connectors, and components with a strong focus on quality and precision.
- Carry out inspection, testing, and fault-finding on completed assemblies.
- Work collaboratively to meet production, safety, and quality standards.
Wiring Technician
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience building wiring harnesses and looms in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience assembling and wiring electronic equipment or control panels.
- Ability to accurately interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of connector types, cables, and electrical components.
- Understanding of wiring standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent.
