This is a tool room focused position where you'll be responsible for manufacture and refurbishing of tooling to technical drawings using manual and CNC workshop equipment with occasional maintenance support

Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in precision machining, tool design and fabrication is ideal
- Hands on experience with planned and reactive maintenance of industrial machinery and facilities equipment
- Apprentice trained engineering qualification or equivalent technical certification.
- Tool Fabrication: Manufacture and refurbish tooling to technical drawings using manual and CNC workshop equipment. Deliver to specification, on time, and to quality standards.
- Tool Design & Development: Collaborate with design teams to interpret engineering drawings and develop new tooling solutions that support evolving products, machinery, and processes.
- Maintenance Activities: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and facilities equipment. Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise disruption.
- Innovation & Problem Solving: Provide timely, creative engineering solutions to manufacturing challenges. Propose and implement innovations to improve tooling and production processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to Manufacturing Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support process optimisation and operational efficiency.
Package & Benefits:
- Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonus
