TIG Welder
Responsibilities:
- Carry out precision TIG welding on stainless steel components including tanks, vessels, skid-sets, and hygienic process equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Work to tight tolerances and ensure finished products meet required quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other production team members to complete builds on time and to spec.
- Perform post-weld finishing (e.g. dressing, polishing) to required surface finishes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company HSE policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a high-performing production team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in TIG welding, ideally with stainless steel.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, consistent work.
- Good understanding of fabrication and assembly processes, including forming, cutting, and pipework.
- Flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to support wider production tasks as needed.
- Team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Experience working with pressure vessels, tanks, or hygienic process equipment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments.
- Understanding of relevant quality standards or welding codes (e.g. ASME, PED, CE/UKCA).
