My client who are a global leader within the industry are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled On-Site Test Rig Engineer to join their team. As part of their metrology operations, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of high-spec test equipment for their customers across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and metrology best practices.
- Calibrate a wide range of instrumentation, including electrical, temperature, load, force, flow, and pressure measuring equipment, to traceable and accredited standards.
- Accurately complete all certificates, records, and documentation, ensuring deadlines and worksheet instructions are met.
- Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Diagnostic & Fault-Finding Skills
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostics on test rigs and systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
- Mechanical & Hydraulic Knowledg
- Understanding of hydraulic systems, mechanical assemblies, and pressure systems
- Experience working with test rigs, tooling, and jig recertification
- Solid knowledge of calibration principles and standards.
- Familiarity with on-site service environments and customer-facing roles.
