Job Title: On-Site Test Rig Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
 
My client who are a global leader within the industry are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled On-Site Test Rig Engineer to join their team. As part of their metrology operations, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of high-spec test equipment for their customers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and metrology best practices.
• Calibrate a wide range of instrumentation, including electrical, temperature, load, force, flow, and pressure measuring equipment, to traceable and accredited standards.
• Accurately complete all certificates, records, and documentation, ensuring deadlines and worksheet instructions are met.

About You – Ideal Candidate Profile

• Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
• Diagnostic & Fault-Finding Skills
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostics on test rigs and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
• Mechanical & Hydraulic Knowledg
• Understanding of hydraulic systems, mechanical assemblies, and pressure systems
• Experience working with test rigs, tooling, and jig recertification
• Solid knowledge of calibration principles and standards.
• Familiarity with on-site service environments and customer-facing roles.
