Test Engineer

We are working with a leading manufacturer in Leighton Buzzard who are looking for a Test Engineer on a 6-to-12-month contract basis. The role will plan, organise and execute development and qualification testing activities and produce high-quality technical documentation in support of product and system verification and validation programs. The successful candidate will be well versed working in a testing focused role with an electrical bias.

Job Description

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver development and qualification testing activities
• Prepare and execute test campaigns, including test setups and instrumentation
• Produce accurate and compliant technical documentation (Test Plans, Procedures, Reports)
• Contribute to the development, improvement and safe operation of test facilities, rigs and processes

 
Test Engineer
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• 5 years plus of hands on experience with electrical products in development and/or qualification testing
• Experience in development and qualification testing using a range of test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems to support test rig setup
• Experience producing Test plans, procedures and reports.
