Stores Operative/Driver

We are looking for a Stores Operative / Driver on a permanent basis to join our client's growing team Our client is a aero-engineering company, supplying into aerospace and power generation.

I'm looking for someone with a Stores/Warehouse operative background, ideally worked within a manufacturing/engineering environment with a clean driving license.

Responsibilities:

• Checking serial numbers and booking things in
• Monitor stock against required inventory and re-order as appropriate
• Support stocktaking activities
• Manage and maintain stocks of production/non-production consumables, materials, detail parts and finished parts
• Issuing and kitting of materials and consumables for production/ despatch
• Receiving and inspecting incoming goods as appropriate
• Drive to and from customer and supplier sites when necessary

 

Salary Package:

• Competitive Salary - £12.21 an hour / £24,761 annually
• Overtime

Working Hours

• 8-4:45 Monday-Thursday
• 8-12pm on Friday

 

Requirements:

• Experience working within a stores operative/warehouse operative position
• Ideally someone who has worked within a manufacturing stores/warehouse environment –
• ‘Can do’ attitude with a good personality – this is massively important
• Need to be 25 years old+ as apparently you can’t legally drive a van unless you’re 25
• Full, clean driving license
• FLT – not essential
