Stores Co-ordinator (Stock Controller)
Location: Near Stevenage / Hitchin
Up to £30,000 per annum
We are looking for a Stores Co-ordinator to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting materials flow, stock accuracy, and warehouse operations. This role suits a detail-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
Essential Requirements / Experience: · Experience in stores, stock control, or warehouse within manufacturing/engineering
· Experience using stock management and/or MRP systems
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Understanding of stock transactions and materials movement
· Materials handling experience or qualification desirable
· Team player with good communication skills

The Role: · Receive, record, and store incoming materials accurately
· Maintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies
· Pick and issue materials to production in line with schedules
· Perform stock checks and cycle counts
· Liaise with purchasing, planning, and production teams
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores area
· Safely load/unload deliveries using appropriate equipment
Health & Safety: · Follow all safety procedures and complete required EHS training
· Conduct equipment checks and manual handling safely
· Maintain a tidy, compliant work environment
