Owen Daniels are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer with strong Supplier Quality / STA (Supplier Technical Assistance) experience to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Willenhall.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with a background in manufacturing environments and supplier development to play a key role in driving quality standards across the supply chain and production operations.
Will be a split between on site and supplier visits across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier quality performance and support supplier development activities
- Conduct supplier audits, investigations, and corrective actions using 8D methodology
- Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis activities
- Work closely with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Support new product introduction and supplier approval processes
- Ensure compliance with customer and industry quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across suppliers and internal processes
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or STA Engineer role
- Strong manufacturing background
- Good understanding of core quality tools: PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, 8D
- Experience dealing directly with suppliers and customer quality requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Automotive or precision engineering experience would be advantageous
