Are you a qualified Refrigeration Engineer looking for a specialist field-based role?

 

A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a motivated Service Engineer to join a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with advanced on-farm milk cooling and dairy processing systems, providing essential service and support to agricultural customers.

 

Based in the North Midlands or Wales, you will be the go-to expert for maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning of dairy refrigeration and glycol chiller systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out service, maintenance, and commissioning of dairy refrigeration systems on farms and glycol chillers in process & HVAC sectors.
• Efficiently diagnosing and repairing breakdowns to minimise customer downtime.
• Providing support for the installation of new cooling equipment.
• Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring clear communication with customers.
• Participating in a paid call-out rota (with overtime or time-off in lieu).
  
  

What They Are Looking For:

• FGas Certification is ideal.
• Proven experience working on refrigeration or HVAC systems. Experience in the food supply chain is highly advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
• The ability to work independently and travel within the region.
