As Senior Product Manager, you’ll act as the “CEO of the product”, taking full ownership of a defined product portfolio. The Role
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll act as the “CEO of the product”, taking full ownership of a defined product portfolio. You’ll set the product vision, define strategy, and lead products through their full lifecycle — from discovery and business case through to launch, optimisation, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategic objectives, and annual plans
- Own and maintain a live product roadmap
- Lead market discovery, customer engagement, and competitive analysis
- Build robust business cases and lead new product development through to launch
- Develop clear value propositions, USPs, and value-based pricing strategies
- Monitor product performance, margins, and profitability, driving corrective actions where needed
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver agreed product and pricing strategies
- Support marketing with technical and commercial product content
- Deliver product training to internal teams and customers
- Review and approve engineering change requests, considering cost, compliance, and market impact
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategy
- Experience working within manufacturing or technically complex products
- A commercial mindset, including pricing, margins, and profitability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree-level qualification (Master’s preferred, or equivalent industry experience)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
