We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to support the development of high-performance automotive components for a leading manufacturer.
You’ll be responsible for delivering complex 3D designs, carrying out FEM analysis, and ensuring products meet demanding safety, performance, and quality standards. Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you’ll help take products from concept through to production.

Job Description
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks
- Perform FEA analysis and engineering calculations
- Participate in FMEA and product risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (TS16949 / ISO9001)
- Support product development from concept to production
Senior Design Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Previous design experience, ideally within automotive
- Strong FEA experience
- Proven experience using SolidWorks for 3D & 2D modelling
- Ability to conduct Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities with suppliers
- Ideally degree qualified (Mechanical/Automotive/Motorsport)
