Job Description
- Lead and develop the site procurement team, setting clear objectives, driving performance, and building a culture of continuous improvement.
- Own all purchasing activity for the site, covering strategic, operational and technical procurement across series production and NPI.
- Drive supplier performance and risk management, including SRM, audits, non-conformance, and development of a resilient supplier base.
- Deliver cost reduction and value improvement, negotiating best terms and reducing total cost of acquisition while protecting quality and delivery.
- Ensure strong operational control and compliance, managing MRP, inventory, S&OP alignment, contracts, and regulatory/quality requirements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Proven leadership of a procurement/buying team in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience in strategic and operational purchasing.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation background, with a track record of cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment (e.g. aerospace, automotive, medical, ISO/AS-certified).
- High level of commercial and technical understanding, able to interpret drawings/specs and use ERP/MRP systems to drive decisions.
- CIPS Qualified
