Quality Manager

Are you an experienced Quality Manager? Do you have experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer of subsea products and systems, is recruiting for a Quality Manager at their site in North Yorkshire.

The role will involve leading quality assurance and quality control activities across the manufacture, assembly, testing and delivery of products, whilst managing the Quality Management System, audits, customer and supplier quality and continuous improvement.

Quality Manager
Job Description:

• Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery.
• Manage, maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
• Manage internal and external audits, including customer and supplier audits.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage and develop the Quality team, driving continuous improvement across products, services and processes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Quality Manager or senior quality position within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience of root cause analysis, problem solving and corrective/preventative actions.
• Experience working with customers and suppliers within a quality-related role.
• Experience of varied manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, complex assembly is advantageous)
