Quality Inspector

Be part of a long-standing global organisation known for engineering excellence and technical innovation. Our client in Farnborough is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team for a 6-month assignment.

 

Your work will ensure components meet drawing specifications before being accepted into stock. You will also support continuous improvement through non-conformance reporting and supplier collaboration.

Job Description

 

• Perform mechanical inspection of drawn parts upon receipt
• Prepare and raise non-conformance reports
• Coordinate supplier non-conformance resolution, including root cause and corrective action
• Participate in audits and reviews of drawn-parts suppliers
• Uphold and promote core values including Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Innovation and Respect

 

Quality Inspector

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

 

• Previous experience in a similar inspection role, ideally within manufacturing
• Experience within an ISO9001 environment (highly desirable)
• Skilled in measuring close-tolerance components accurately and consistently
• Proficient with analogue and digital vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• CMM experience (ideal)
• Working knowledge of BS8888
