Job Description
- Ensure compliance with all quality procedures and work instructions.
- Manage calibration of gauges, instruments, and equipment via Gagepack and third-party suppliers.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work cards.
- Write and update procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
- Conduct internal audits to AS9100/AS13100 standards.
- Manage customer returns, supplier corrective actions, and quality issue feedback.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions using 8D methodology.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and third parties.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain accurate, timely work.
Quality Engineer
Essential Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- Experience working as a Quality Engineer (aerospace experience is ideal but not essential)
- Well-versed carrying out root-cause analysis/8D’s, dealing with non-conformances, and problem solving
- Willing to learn how to support and carry out audits (no experience required, but must be willing to be trained and put on a course)
- Dynamic and proactive personality. Someone who can work independently, problem solve
- Must be confident using excel and be computer literate
