Quality Engineer

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer who has worked within the aerospace sector? Our client, a manufacturer of fabricated and machined components, is looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis. The role will drive product quality and process compliance, maintain quality management systems and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have worked within the aerospace sector and be well versed with quality management tools, problem analysis methodologies and internal audits.

Job Description

• Root cause analysis of non-conformances and establishing corrective actions for internal, customer and supplier issues
• Support with the inspection of components and FAIR activity
• Maintenance of the company QMS
• Complete internal and customer audits to ensure requirements are met
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement

 
Quality Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experienced working in a Quality Engineer position, within the aerospace sector
• Knowledge of quality managements systems (ISO9001/AS9100)
• Competent with problem analysis methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why)
• Well-versed with quality management tools and methodologies (APQP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans)
