The Role
- Ensure compliance to AS9100, ISO9001 and customer quality requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
- Develop and maintain quality systems, inspection standards and control processes.
- Provide quality support across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
- Prepare and review FAIRs, PPAP documentation and quality reports.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance product and process quality.
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, automotive or precision manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001.
- Hands-on experience with FMEA, APQP, 8D, CAPA and PPAP.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge would be an advantage.
