Our well-established manufacturing client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their Quality Team in Andover!

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with a strong manufacturing background to take ownership of product quality, investigate issues, drive root cause analysis and implement improvements that enhance product reliability, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Quality Engineer
Job Description

• Lead product quality assurance activities, including inspection, testing, verification and compliance checks.
• Investigate product defects, customer complaints and reliability issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
• Support the introduction of new products by helping teams identify potential risks and establish effective quality processes.
• Produce and maintain quality reports, records and procedures, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

 
 
Quality Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• A background in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a similar technical role, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, SPC, APQP, PPAP and FMEA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with the ability to challenge existing processes and make evidence-based recommendation
