Project Engineer – Key responsibilities:
- Support the project team by preparing quotations, assessing work requirements, identifying risks, and estimating delivery timescales.
- Build strong customer relationships, develop new opportunities, and attend project meetings with customers and site teams across the UK.
- Manage customer communication throughout the project and support successful project completion, including reviews and lessons learned.
- Oversee project delivery by managing contracts, costs, timescales, changes, and risk assessments to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide on-site support across the UK and internationally, ensuring the right people, equipment, and information are available throughout the project.
Project Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the electrical rotating machines industry with a relevant BTEC/HND qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Understanding of project financial impacts, with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with experience supervising others preferred.
- A proactive and motivated approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and flexibility to work on sites across the UK and internationally.
