Are you an experienced Production Team Leader looking for your next challenge? If so, this opportunity cannot be missed! Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a Production Team Leader due to growth in the business.

 

Production Team Leader – Key responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day shop floor operations, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the required quality standards.
• Lead and support a team of 25–30 employees, providing clear direction, coaching and effective communication.
• Promote a safe, compliant and positive working environment by maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, 5S, environmental responsibility, data protection and company procedures.
• Manage workloads, resources and materials to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve operational issues while driving continuous improvement across the production environment.

 

Production Team Leader - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Previous experience of mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality and Health & Safety.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with CNC machining, across milling, turning or grinding.
• Proven experience in a production environment, ideally within Automotive, Motorsport or other CNC engineering sectors.
