Job Description
- Managing daily production activities and delivery performance.
- Leading, coaching and developing Team Leaders and Assembly Operatives.
- Driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health & safety and operational standards.
- Monitoring KPIs including productivity, on-time delivery, quality and efficiency.
- Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality and Warehouse teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing production or assembly teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working within Make-to-Order and/or Configure-to-Order environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality, safety and performance.
- Experience within electro-mechanical assembly, pumps, fluid systems or engineered products would be highly advantageous.
