Role: Production Leader

Type: Full Time, permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Working pattern: 4 day week

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

 

Owen Daniels have partnered with a leading manufacturing company and we are recruiting for a Production leader due to growth in the business.

 

Production leader – Key responsibilities:

• Lead daily SQCDP meetings, maintain clear communication with customers, and escalate key issues promptly.
• Work with H&S to reduce risks, carry out safety audits, investigate incidents, and always ensure safe working practices.
• Investigate customer concerns within agreed SLAs, maintain accurate QA records, and ensure all work meets company standards.
• Manage productivity, control downtime, approve production hours, maintain delivery commitments, and coordinate effectively across departments.
• Manage and develop team performance through QCD/SQCDP measures, coaching, CI activities, and structured training and development plans.

 

Production leader - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Production Leader.
• Proven experience mentoring and managing teams.
• Technical manufacturing experience, electrical is desirable.
• Experience and understanding of SQCDP principles.
