Job Description
- You will lead with a safety-first mindset, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. Maintain a world-class safe working environment in all operational areas.
- Ensure that quality is upheld and enforce the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure all employees are trained to required standards and champion continuous quality improvements.
- Develop, build and sustain a high-performing team culture aligned with company values. Inspire and recognise individuals and teams through visible leadership and engagement.
- Manage operational costs within budget through efficient resource allocation and maximised labour productivity.
- Achieve on-time, in-full delivery targets by meeting planned lead-times and optimising workflow processes.
- Conduct open and honest performance evaluations. Support individual development through coaching, closing performance gaps, and unlocking team potential.
- Mentor your team and develop them to ensure they understand and meet SQCDP targets.
Experience/ Qualification
- Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing or engineering environments - ideally aerospace/ heavy industry
- Strong understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement methods
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills
- Proven ability to drive cultural change and motivate teams
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting
