Role: Principle Mechanical Design Engineer  

Type: Full Time, permanent

Hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Location: Bristol  

 

Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? If so, then this opportunity cannot be missed! I am seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading Engineering company.

 

Principle Mechanical Design Engineer – Key responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate mechanical designs, analysis and to tight tolerances and in line with the BS 8888 standard
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration across the mechanical design and project management teams
• Take responsibility to ensure all designs meet the specific requirements and project objectives.
• Support, mentor and develop junior engineers when required

 

 

Principle Mechanical Design Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD package
• Proven track record in Mechanical design engineering
• Ability to perform FEA/stress analysis and work out calculations by hand
• Strong background in the Aerospace and Defense sector or similar
