Hours: Mon-Thur: 7:00am - 16:00pm, Fri: 7:00am – 13:00pm

Location: Worcester, West Midlands

 

Owen Daniels have partnered with a leading Engineering company and we are recruiting for a Press Brake Team Leader due to growth in the business.

 

Press Brake Team Leader – Key responsibilities:

  • Set a strong example by maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment at all times.
  • Make sure quality standards and performance targets are met, monitor KPIs, resolve issues quickly, and ensure products are delivered on time and to the correct specification.
  • Lead, support and motivate the team, providing clear direction, training and feedback while dealing with any people matters fairly and in line with company policy.
  • Encourage continuous improvement by using lean methods, addressing root causes of problems, supporting engineering changes, and improving processes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, ensure compliance with health & safety and company standards, and customer satisfaction.
 

Press Brake Team Leader - Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Sage 200.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with a positive, enthusiastic approach.
  • Able to use initiative, manage time well and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues confidently.
