Overview
Skilled Polisher/Fettler Engineer is required by long established and respected engineering manufacturing Company.
This interesting and varied “hands-on” role is working in building food processing machinery in Stainless steel. The role is working in a small polishing department of 4 metal polishing engineers.
You will need to have significant experience in polishing and fettering working on Stainless-Steel metal finishes. (Satin / Mirror / Shot Blast / Scotch-bright)

Basic Function
  • You will be required to work in a small vicinity with extraction but quite a dirty environment.  
  • You will also be required to work on large machinery outside of the polishing shop due to the magnitude of machines we are manufacturing in size. 
  • You may be required to go on-site from time to time to help assist in the installation of the equipment to customers.

You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday with a 10 minute break 10.00 am - 10.10 am and ½ hour lunch-break 1.00 pm - 1.30 pm


Working Hours:
Monday                                               7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Tuesday                                               7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday                            7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Friday                                                   7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime).

Overtime is generally available paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. It is expected that a reasonable amount of overtime be worked as requested by Supervisor or Manager
