We are seeking an experienced Paint shop Supervisor to join our client’s established manufacturing team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of a busy powder coating paint shop. You will be responsible for managing the paint shop, supervising agency staff, and leading production activities and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Job Description
 

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the powder coating paint shop.
• Plan and organise workloads, ensuring permanent and temporary staff, materials and equipment are used effectively.
• Ensure production schedules are met, keeping work moving and minimising downtime and waste.
• Monitor production performance and take action where targets are not being met.
• Work closely with other production departments, Planning and Quality teams to ensure work flows smoothly through the factory, reviewing staffing levels where needed to meet production demands.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
 

• Previous experience working within a powder coating or industrial paint shop environment
• Experience supervising or leading a team within a manufacturing environment
