Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join a well-established manufacturing business in Pickering. You will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are consistently achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency. You will lead and develop the operational team, working closely with key support functions to optimise performance, improve processes and deliver continuous operational excellence.

Job Description

• Lead site-wide manufacturing operations ensuring production plans and customer demand are achieved.
• Own SQDCP performance, driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People while monitoring KPIs, productivity, OEE, downtime, scrap and rework.
• Provide operational leadership, managing Production Managers, Supervisors and wider teams while building accountability, engagement, capability and succession
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, structured problem solving, waste reduction, standardisation and improvements to production flow and efficiency.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Strong injection moulding manufacturing knowledge
• Previous experience working within the automotive manufacturing industry
• Well versed with high-volume, customer driven production schedules
