The Role
As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspection activities to ensure components meet the required customer and quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out DPI/FPI/LPI and Visual Inspection activities on a range of components.
- Ensuring NDT equipment is maintained, calibrated and suitable for the required inspection operations.
- Interpreting and evaluating inspection results against defined acceptance criteria and standards.
- Producing work instructions for review and approval by the Level 3 NDT function.
- Ensuring products conform to customer specifications, drawings and defined acceptance standards.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and compliance throughout the inspection process.
- Level 2 qualification in FPI/DPI/LPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection / Dye Penetrant Inspection / Liquid Penetrant Inspection).
- Previous NDT experience within a highly regulated manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Good understanding of NDT inspection procedures and acceptance criteria.
