Are you an experienced Metrology Lead looking for your next challenge? If so, this opportunity cannot be missed! Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a Metrology Lead due to growth in the business.
 
Metrology Lead – Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of CMM Operators, Programmers and Metrology Technicians.
• Develop and prove CMM programmes, supporting inspection and measurement activities.
• Lead metrology investigations and support quality issues and corrective actions.
• Support NPI, first article inspections and measurement reporting.
• Drive accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement across the metrology function.

 
Metrology Lead - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong CMM programming experience, ideally using Zeiss Calypso.
• Excellent knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with MSA, Gauge R&R and first-principles measurement.
• Background in precision manufacturing, with aerospace experience advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team.
