Mechanical Project Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for your next opportunity in aerospace? Our client, a leading engineering business specialising in aerospace and fuel systems, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Coventry.
 
You’ll work on innovative aerospace products, heat exchangers and NPI programmes, taking projects from design through to validation and production.

Job Description

• Lead engineering projects and NPI programmes, managing scope, schedules and risks.
• Support the design, development and validation of aerospace mechanical components and heat exchangers.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, designs and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production readiness.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.

 
Project Mechanical Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant engineering experience, ideally within aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, product development, materials and manufacturing.
• Experience managing engineering projects, risks, schedules and deliverables.
• 3D CAD, simulation, DFMEA and design for manufacture experience desirable.
