Job Description

• Deliver mechanical design solutions which align with detailed specifications
• Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Produce 2D drawings in SolidWorks, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BoMs) to a high standard
• Collaborate with various departments such as production to ensure projects are running smoothly and no errors occur
• Provide cost effective solutions that align with the company’s technical requirements for manufacturing

 
Mechanical Design Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Experienced using SolidWorks (2D and 3D) or similar
• Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication, machined components, and manufacturing processes
• Confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• A ‘can do attitude’
• Willingness to learn and develop
