Type: Permanent

Pay: £35,000 - £55,000 DOE – Intermediate to Senior

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm. 2pm finish on Fridays!

Location: Cheltenham

Job Description

• Design and develop new and existing products and automation solutions
• Create and improve design concepts and site layouts
• Produce detailed drawings and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
• Manage projects from cradle to grave (from start to finish), ensuring customer satisfaction
• Ensure all projects meets high standards and are completed on time

 

Mechanical Design Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Positive attitude with strong communication and presentation skills
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (or similar) with keen attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solver, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK
• Ideally experienced in the design of special purpose machinery
• Able to liaise with customers to meet their requirements
