Our growing manufacturing client in Derby are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and understanding detailed manufacturing instructions, carrying out process inspections and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Job Description
- Complete a range of hands-on manufacturing tasks
- Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Engineering Drawings, Ream sheets, Data Cards, etc.
- Use appropriate measuring equipment to verify that all components meet quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience carrying out a hands-on manufacturing role is ideal (riveting, counter sinking, deburring, linishing, fettling, assembly and fitting etc.)
- Confident using a range of manufacturing tools such as air grinders, air tools, linishers etc.
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication skills
