Job Description
- Define and develop manufacturing methods and processes to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Design fixturing and work-holding solutions, supporting assembly and implementation.
- Generate CNC programmes and support machining programme and tooling prove-out.
- Work with tooling suppliers to identify cost-effective and advanced tooling solutions.
- Collaborate with Machine Shop, Sub-Assembly and Inspection teams to identify and resolve technical issues
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Extensive experience programming HyperMill and Vericut, including complex simultaneous 5-axis machining.
- Well-versed working in a highly regulated, precision manufacturing industry, ideally within automotive, aerospace or motorsport.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience programming turning and mill-turn machining centres would be advantageous.
