Our client is expanding their engineering team and is seeking a practical, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support production and help optimise CNC machining processes across a busy aerospace manufacturing environment.

You'll take ownership of your own products, leading New Product Introduction (NPI), developing manufacturing processes, providing hands-on support for CNC machining operations, creating engineering documentation, and driving continuous improvement across a variety of precision-manufactured aerospace components.

Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
  • Manage your own products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to production
  • Provide hands on support and work to improve manufacturing processes for machined components
  • Create and maintain manufacturing routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), SOPs and documentation
  • Produce FAIR documentation and support PPAP/NPI activities
  • Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans and Process Flow documentation
  • Lead root cause investigations using 5 Why, 8D and other structured problem-solving techniques
  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency through automation and AI technologies

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with CNC Machinery 
  • Proactive attitude with the confidence to take ownership of projects
