Role: Manual Machinist

Type: Full Time, permanent

Hours: Mon-Thurs: 8:00am-4:30pm and Fri: 8:00am – 3:30pm

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Over time (Optional)

Location: Sheffield  

 

Are you a Manual Machinist looking for your next challenge? If so, then this opportunity cannot be missed! I am seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join a leading Engineering company due to growth in the business.

 

Manual Machinist – Key responsibilities:

• Machine and produce components/parts for rotating equipment in accordance with technical drawings
• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling and boring machines safely and efficiently
• Perform high precision turning and welding on specific parts such as shafts or pump bearings
• Use pillar and radial drills

 

Manual Machinist - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong background and experience operating manual machines including lathes and milling machines
• Apprentice trained and qualified in machining or similar
• Experienced using industrial drilling machines such as radial and pillar drills
• Experienced in a manufacturing environment and trained in health and safety
