Owen Daniels are supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer supplying precision-engineered components to major global OEMs, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically minded Manufacturing Engineer to work within a highly regulated aerospace environment, supporting both new product introduction and continuous improvement activities across production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, and PFMEAs
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from concept through to production
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost reduction, and efficiency
- Liaise closely with design, quality, production, and supply chain teams
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues
- Support lean manufacturing and root cause analysis activities
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements
- Proven experience within a Manufacturing Engineer position in the aerospace sector
- Strong knowledge of machining, assembly, or fabrication processes
- Experience working within AS9100 or similarly regulated environments
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience with process validation, tooling, and production support
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering preferred
