We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, highly automated manufacturing environment in Minworth.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background who enjoys fault finding, keeping production moving and getting stuck into continuous improvement.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across automated production equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• PLC fault finding and working with sensors, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Maintaining injection moulding equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and associated machinery.
• Responding to breakdowns and helping minimise production downtime.
• Supporting machinery installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Assisting with site facilities and general maintenance when required.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and working to high health & safety standards.
  
  

About You
We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within FMCG/ Fast Paced Manufacturing
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Experience fault finding on automated and PLC-controlled machinery.
• A Level 3 engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship/equivalent experience.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• 18th Edition, HNC/HND and experience within regulated manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
